April Not Abstract

Posted by Ken (Chicago, United States) on 2 May 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Two days ago, it had begun to rain and I saw this light green plant thirsty for a drink of an April shower. I have been trying to expand my "bag o' tricks" with more abstracts, so this is one of them. The leaves, not yet open, resemble little scrolls filled with the veins of future knowledge.

This came out really well. What a shot! Beautifully composed, you really saw a great pattern there.

@dj.tigersprout: I know. I am confusing some folks with the double websites. I didn't realize my link on aminus3 ( in comments) was set up for the shutterchance site.
